Contest Rules

The Question – Live Trivia Consumer Application (“Contest”) is a product of Stream Live, Inc. (“Stream”). The Contest is skill-based and no element of chance either increases or decreases your chances of winning.  The Contest is sponsored by Stream (“Sponsor”) located at 1000 Johnnie Dodds Blvd, Suite 103-358, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464.

Contest is open to any person in the world over 17 years of age at the time of entry. No employee, family member, or household member of Sponsor or Sponsor’s parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, or any other entity involved in the development or administration of the Contest is eligible to participate in or win the contest. Contest is void where prohibited or where restricted by law, or where bonding, registration, or any other requirements would be required but have not been met, or where the methods of entry would be deemed consideration.

You may join the Contest at any time.

By downloading the App, you agree that all information provided by you or collected by the Sponsor in connection with the Contest may be used in accordance with The Question – Live Trivia’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. All information you submit to The Question – Live Trivia becomes the property of the Sponsor.

Any entries which Sponsor determines are generated or supported by automated means, including but not limited to scripts, bots, and macros, are void and will be disqualified.

Winners will answer all questions of an Episode correctly and within the time limits specified and will receive a cash prize (“Episode Prize”). The total available Episode Prize for each Episode is announced in the App, and the Episode Prize will be divided evenly between the total number of winners for the Episode. Winners will be notified via the App. In the event where no contestants are able to answer all questions of an Episode correctly, Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, choose to roll over that Episode Prize to a future Episode, or not award that Episode Prize at all.

Beginning on the first of each calendar month, correct responses to all questions by contestants and by topic or category are cumulatively tracked in the App (“Leaderboard”). Winners will have the highest number of questions answered correctly in one of more of the Leaderboard categories after the last Episode of each calendar month, and will win a cash prize (“Leaderboard Prize”). The total available Leaderboard Prize for each category is announced in the App, and each Leaderboard Prize will be divided evenly between the total number of winners for the Leaderboard category. Winners will be notified via the App.

The total of all accrued prizes (“Prizes”) you have won is visible on the home screen of the App. To receive payment of your Prizes you must have accrued at least $25 in prize value and you must cash-out your Prizes via PayPal (a third party service, use of which is subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of PayPal). Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, contact you directly to arrange an alternate, mutually agreeable method of payment contingent on  confirmation of your eligibility to receive Prizes. Winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on the value of the Prizes.

The decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding with respect to all matters related to the Contest. In no event will Sponsor be obligated to award any prizes other than the Episode Prize and Leaderboard Prize (“Prize”) specified in these Official Rules. Sponsor does not guarantee that the Prizes can be made available to the winners. Prizes are not assignable or transferable and no substitutions are permitted. If the Prizes are not able to be fulfilled to the winner, or the winner cannot claim the Prizes for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to not award the Prizes at all.

It is each contestant’s responsibility to comply with the contest laws of his/her country and jurisdiction. Each country/jurisdiction may or may not have laws regarding contests that prevent Sponsor from awarding a contestant with a Prize. By entering this contest, each contestant acknowledges that, based on the laws of his/her country and jurisdiction, he/she may win but may not be able to collect a Prize. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Contest. Winning constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use winner’s name, images, likeness, and prize won (all at Sponsor’s discretion) for future advertising, publicity in any and all media now or hereafter devised throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission. Sponsor and its respective officers, directors, agents, representatives, and employees (collectively, “Released Parties”) are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, stolen, altered, garbled, incorrect, incomplete or delayed Entries; all of which will be void.
